About the book: 1971 / "Yan Bibiyan. The Extraordinary Adventures of One Boy" and "Yan Bibiyan on the Moon" were included in the golden fund of Bulgarian literature for children and youth. According to the writer himself, the novel grew out of those fairy tales that he composed and told to his son for educational purposes. Through the image of a fictional hero, he sought to give him an “edifying” example of worldly wisdom. This circumstance largely explains the feeling of deep sympathy with which the writer portrays his hero.
