About the book: 2024 / “Kill me, otherwise you are a murderer.” These are the last words spoken by Franz Kafka, begging his friend, medical student Robert Klopstock, to inject him with another dose of morphine. His life partner Dora Diamant is on duty at the head of his bed, while his sister Ottla, whom he loves with all his soul, is waiting for news in Prague. The novel divides the world into two states - Kafka’s life and life after Kafka. The first part will tell us about the last years of his life Franz, where the author dwells in detail on the entire biography of the writer. The second part of the book is about the fate of three people close to him. This well-researched study recreates the world as Kafka saw it based on letters, diaries and testimonies of contemporaries.
