The Central Committee of the Party set before them the task: with the help of local Bolsheviks, to launch agitation work among the interventionist troops, to explain to the deceived foreign soldiers and sailors that the imperialists want with their hands to strangle the world's first state of workers and peasants. About these glorious underground heroes who despised death in the name of This book tells about the life and happiness of people, about high courage and boundless devotion to the cause of the party, about truly proletarian internationalism. The preface to it was written by the General Secretary of the French Communist Party M. Thorez in August 1959, while he was on vacation in the USSR.
