MediaDB / «Olga Kalashnikova: “Serf Love” by Pushkin” Mikhail Filin: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2013 / Readers are offered a scientific and artistic biography of Olga Kalashnikova, a courtyard girl of the Pushkin landowners, who happened to become “serf love” our famous poet and the mother of his child. The romance of the capital's gentleman and the “black peasant woman” began in the Pskov village of Mikhailovsky during the exile of Alexander Pushkin, continued in a different way during the days of the famous “Boldino autumn”, and it ended in a completely unusual way. Over many years of communication, the poet, together with his chosen one (who turned into a noblewoman and a titular adviser), created an original life text, where romantic impulses coexist with vulgar prosaism, bliss with sorrow, and virtue with vice. The vicissitudes of this novel found artistic reflection in Pushkin’s works - such as “Eugene Onegin”, “The Mermaid”, “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish”, etc. All this is narrated, based on various (including archival) sources, by a famous historian and writer M. D. Filin. Age restrictions: 16+
