The vicissitudes of this novel found artistic reflection in Pushkin’s works - such as “Eugene Onegin”, “The Mermaid”, “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish”, etc. All this is narrated, based on various (including archival) sources, by a famous historian and writer M.
