MediaDB / «Who paved the way for the pact?” Arsen Martirosyan: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2009 / The book, which opens a new project by the famous historian Arsen Martirosyan “Myths of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact,” exposes myths about the prehistory of the conclusion of the Soviet-German non-aggression pact from August 23, 1939. Extensive historical material, presented in the analytical mode of intelligence-historical investigation, shows the little-known or completely unknown background of the conclusion of this agreement, violent passions for which have not subsided to this day. For the first time in Russian historiography, the true mechanism of provoking the Second World War is shown, which was intensively pursued by powerful world-class behind-the-scenes forces who sought to destroy Russia-USSR by any means necessary. Particular attention in the book is paid to a thorough retrospective analysis of the entire complex of motives and reasons that forced Stalin and, in general, the entire Soviet leadership of that time to conclude that there was a dire need to finally conclude a non-aggression treaty.
