About the book: 2014 / An employee of a defense research institute admits criticism of the political regime in his dissertation. He is dismissed from the army, stripped of his military rank and sent to a psychiatric clinic. He miraculously escapes and soon flees to Great Britain, where he makes a successful career as a scientist. Meanwhile, the passion for science and the ongoing arbitrariness in Russia lead the scientist to one thought. Not exactly saving, but allowing at least hope for imminent changes: he intends to accelerate the evolution of his former fellow citizens (these “donkeys” that everyone has ridden - from Jesus Christ to the president and the Patriarch). Like the author’s previous work (“The Shop of Lost Love”), the novel is written in an ironic manner. Together with its heroes, we will look into the future, ride from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar, visit London, the Yamal Peninsula and visit Mars. We will learn about new technologies, experience a love drama, return to the past, and then completely lose the passage of time..
