About the book: 1923 / ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀Fb2-adaptation of a Pdf copy of a book published a century ago, back in 1923. The text of the poem, printed in it, in some places is quite different from the text considered classical (and sounds, perhaps, better). In that edition, the final, now canonical, version of the magnificent illustrations by A. N. Benois for the poem about the unfortunate Eugene and Petersburg was presented for the first time flood. The text of the book is reproduced verbatim, but for the convenience of the reader it is brought into full compliance with modern transcription and spelling.
