About the book: 2021 / Sociological study "Current problems in the development of blood donation and its components in Russia" conducted within the framework of the social project of the National Health Development Fund “#BLOOD DONATION: space of interaction - model solutions for the development of regular free blood donation in the regions of Russia” with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The study, in particular, reflects such issues as a general assessment of the current situation in the field of blood and bone marrow donation, motivation and barriers to blood donation, measures to prepare for donating blood and/or its components, assessment of awareness and information needs. The publication is addressed to organizers and coordinators of the donor movement, representatives of volunteer associations, initiative groups, non-profit organizations, specialists from Blood Service institutions, as well as those who are interested in the state and development of blood donation and its components in the Russian Federation and the requests of participants in the donor movement.
