About the book: 1983 / The book describes the socio-economic development of Ukraine as an integral part of Russia, shows the aggravation of class contradictions, highlights events associated with the revolution of 1905–1907, periods of reactions and a new revolutionary upsurge, the First World War and the February bourgeois-democratic revolution. The situation of Western Ukrainian lands, the struggle of workers for social and national liberation, for reunification with Ukraine as part of Russia is shown.
