About the book: 1998 / Memories of the repatriation of Cossacks from Austria in June 1945, about a camp in Siberia. The author is an active participant and one of the organizers of the unarmed resistance of the Cossacks against their forced extradition by the British into the hands of the Soviet authorities. In 1942, after the German occupation, the Polish spouses, among many thousands of Cossack families, left for the west. In 1945 they were forcibly “repatriated” back to the USSR, like the Vlasovites. And although they did not participate in hostilities against the “allies,” Evgenia Borisovna received 7 years in the camps, her husband - 10. Towards the end of her life, she wrote the memoirs “This is us, Lord, before You...”, in which she describes the post-war tragedy of the Cossacks , and with him the entire Russian people, all of Russia...
