About the book: 2007 / In the collection of articles by Doctor of Philosophy, chief researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vadim Mikhailovich Mezhuev, an attempt was made to reveal the direct discrepancy between the socio-historical teachings of Marx and interpretation of this teaching within the framework of so-called “Soviet Marxism”. The author analyzes Marx's understanding of history, society, culture, public property, socialism and a number of other important themes of his theory, revealing the fundamental discrepancy between the views of Marx himself and those who try to judge him from the position of Soviet apologetics or current politically biased criticism of Marxism.
