Gorodinsky were published in such publications as the magazines "Yunost", "Ogonyok" (Moscow ), “Neva” (St. Petersburg), “Syntax” (Paris), the newspapers “Russian Thought” (Paris), “New Russian Word” (New York), were translated into German, English and Hungarian. M. Gorodinsky is a laureate of the Literary Newspaper Prize (Moscow). Children of Words was nominated for the 1993 Booker Prize.
