MediaDB / «History of the French Revolution from 1789 to 1814." François Minier: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2006 / The book by F. Minier, published in 1823, is the first completed scientific work in historiography on the history of this greatest episode in the history of not only France, but the whole world . It was she who laid the foundation for a truly scientific study of the events of these turbulent years. The work of F. Migne is a great monument not only to historical itself, but to philosophical-historical (historiosophical) thought. It found its most adequate embodiment of the concept of social classes and class struggle created by French historians of the Restoration era, among whom was F. Mignet. The discovery of social classes and class struggle gave F. Mignet the opportunity to look at the Great French Revolution not as a sequence of individual events, but as an objective process occurring according to laws independent of the consciousness and will of people. As a result, the work of this great historian, despite the many years that have passed since its publication, in a number of respects stands above many modern works on this topic.
