About the book: 2019 / The book presents for the first time the biography of the infantry general A. N. Kuropatkin, a participant in the Russian-Turkish, Russian-Japanese and First World Wars, St. George Knight, comrade-in-arms of M.D. Skobelev, intelligence officer, scientist, Minister of War, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian land and naval forces in Manchuria in 1904–1905, creator of domestic military counterintelligence, a man of continuous action and creativity aimed at the security of the Motherland and the Russian people. Based on the study of a significant array of scientific, journalistic and archival sources, the author tried to recreate the true multifaceted appearance of a military general and a true patriot of the Russian Empire in the context of global historical events, of which A. N. Kuropatkin was a direct participant.
