About the book: 2016 / Cyberspace is a parallel created by man in a computer network, it is a virtual world, a world of codes and numbers. In 2050, people have practically mastered cyberspace and learned to use it to create cyber products useful for real society. However, it seemed to the person that this was not enough, since the possibilities of the virtual world are limitless. And one scientist manages to create a program that allows one to look into the very heart of cyberspace, allowing one to move a person’s consciousness to a virtual platform. The famous cyberneticist Daniel Berg developed a project, which was given the code name "Gondwana", the program was supposed to serve people suffering from serious diseases. But the project fails when the test subject dies upon first contact with Gondwana. And, it would seem, they forget about the great discovery; Daniel is completely immersed in everyday work. It is unknown how much more time would have passed if not for the accident. A tragedy occurs in the life of a scientist; his wife Eva has an accident. From now on, the young woman is bedridden. It was then that Berg decided to give the program a second chance, thereby allowing his wife to live beyond the border, where she could walk and feel her body again. However, everything changes dramatically when people appear who want to get their hands on Gondwana. Eva's life is under threat, but Berg doesn't even know who his wife really is and why the secret organizations need Gondwana.
