At the same time, the daughter of a wealthy miller, Paranka, had her eye on Yegor. Out of jealousy and selfish motives, using the influence of her family in the village, she forces Yegor to marry herself, breaking the pure and beautiful feeling that connected Yegor and Dasha, created for each other. “Apparently, they really say that love cannot be defeated. Even love spells have no power over true love. You can ruin your life with witchcraft, but you can’t defeat true love.” Unable to change anything, young people are forced to live apart, in unloved families.
