And one of the heroes had his leg bitten by a real snake! The confusion caused by the stone, self-hypnosis or reality - there is no time to sort it out! We must save ourselves, save a friend whose leg refuses to obey. And then the children are guided by the inexorable logic of events. We need to find a safe place. It is necessary to suck out the poison and cauterize the wound. We need to find food. And do all this in conditions where you yourself are the desired food for cold-blooded, terrible monsters! And you also need to find the accidentally dropped stone. You can’t get out of here without him... The first book of the series is dedicated to these adventures of three friends. Children find themselves in the most difficult circumstances, avoid dangers, and learn to survive in difficult situations. Friendship, mutual assistance, and character help them. And, most importantly, good knowledge. At the same time, nothing miraculous happens to them: with the exception of the episode with the stone, which served as the beginning of the plot, everything else - the search for food, attempts to light a fire, collisions with predators, survival of bites and wounds - happens and is described in a realistic manner. And the world of dinosaurs is shown as modern science imagines it. In a word, this is not a fantasy with miracles and magicians. And they managed to escape from the time of dinosaurs. True, one of the boys was seriously injured in the last battle with the lizard. And, being unconscious, he could not, naturally, concentrate on the desire to return home. And the power of the stone was only enough to transport the children... to the Neanderthal cave. They were not happy with them. We had to push away the spears of primitive hunters and show miracles of diplomacy in sign language. And only later it became clear: the children owed their cold reception to the fact that they turned out to be similar to the worst enemies of the Neanderthals - certain Ulamrs. Those, judging by this similarity, were representatives of the same species of hominid as the children - Homo sapiens. In the Stone Age these were Cro-Magnons. And the war between them is endless... Three heroes were also involved in it. One was captured by the Ulamrs. Who take the boy for a spirit from their world of the dead, where, according to their beliefs, all dark-skinned people become white. It’s just that here it is customary to treat perfumes in a businesslike manner: if you eat it, you will acquire many useful qualities from the spirit. And they are seriously preparing to eat the boy... And his friend still lies unconscious in the Neanderthal cave. And they... help the girl nurse him! Although they still suspect that the children are among their enemies... And again, courage, courage, loyalty to a friend - as well as knowledge and intelligence - helped three children lost in time to overcome the most difficult circumstances. One, through courage and self-control, managed to survive among the cruel Cro-Magnons. Another, having barely recovered, figured out how to arm the Neanderthals in order to help his friend out of captivity with their help. The third helped, looked after, collected food that was so difficult in primitive conditions - and even made weapons. As a result, the war with the Ulamrs ended in victory.
