About the book: year / Research by Professor Major General E.A. Razin’s “History of Military Art” is the first attempt at a generalizing work on the history of wars in Soviet historical science. After its first publication in 1939, Razin’s work was reprinted several times, but even now it remains a bibliographic rarity. The first volume of the author’s three-volume study is devoted to the development of military affairs and weapons from ancient times to the era of the Great Migration of Peoples. The Veche publishing house opens with this book a new series “The Science of Victory”, which will collect fundamental and rare works on the history and theory of military affairs.
