He also founded the Society for Aid to Christians in the Soviet Union, and, in the end, this book was written. Those who knew him were amazed by his commitment to the Vlasov cause. His attitude towards Bolshevism was irreconcilable. As a young man, he lived through the Bolshevik revolution and the early years of the communist regime in Moscow. He felt his own duty to those who fell in this fateful era, to those Russians and Germans who, sacrificing their lives, opposed this enslavement in their countries. And it was necessary to fulfill the vow he made to General Vlasov, who asked him: “Describe that we were not traitors...” Sergei Fröhlich - a man with a German passport, but with a Russian soul, as Kromiadi describes him, a companion of General Vlasov and a mediator between the camps . He wanted to do everything in his power so that Vlasov’s struggle was not limited to historical events alone. The general’s motto is “It’s never too late to save the people!” became his motto.
