Unlike the well-known khanates (Kazan, Astrakhan, etc.), Kasimov was always allied with Moscow. Together we will go through its entire path, trace how it developed with the rest of Russia during the turbulent 15th-17th centuries, and see what an invaluable contribution the allied Tatars, the guard of the Russian rulers, made to the country’s victories. The research is intertwined with an artistic line - a story about a fictional Tatar military family.
