About the book: year / The second book from the trilogy "Karatila". The romance of karate during Perestroika is remembered by many over 30. The first book of the trilogy, “Karatila,” tells about the development of a fighter in a small town in the North Caucasus. Egor Andreev, a simple Russian guy living in a difficult place and in a difficult time, has not been distinguished by any special physical condition since childhood. However, for a beginner, brute strength is not the main thing, the main thing is fortitude. Yegor fanatically falls in love with the mysterious and prohibited karate in the Soviet Union. Having passed the most severe selection for the semi-underground section, he begins hard training, as a result of which he gradually changes both physically and spiritually, becoming stronger in overcoming difficulties and in the struggle with himself. Karate gave him everything: good teachers, loyal friends, self-confidence and the ability to overcome difficult life trials with honor and dignity. How the karatekas of that glorious era lived, how the Movement developed, what the samurai spirit of fanatical athletes evolved into - all this is told by a person who observed the process from the inside. So the gong sounds, “The first round” begins... In fact, this book is not really about karate, it is more about life, about friendship, love and betrayal. This book is based on real events, and almost all of its significant characters live or lived in reality. The main period of time in which the actions take place is the frenzy of the “dashing nineties” - a time memorable for many over thirty. Location: North Caucasus, St. Petersburg, Moscow. Similar to what has already been done on a similar topic - the well-known “Brigade”, but only with a Caucasian accent and a karate theme. Enjoy readingAdded and corrected version
