About the book: 1988 / The book by Honored Artists of the RSFSR M. Plakhova and B. Alekseev talks about their participation in the expedition organized by the USSR Academy of Sciences to research vessel "Akademik Kurchatov" from Kaliningrad around Europe to the Indian Ocean (1983). The authors visited the Seychelles, Madagascar, Mauritius, Africa and uninhabited islands in the ocean, including Aldabra, Farquhar, Wizard of the Cosmoledo group. The book is equipped with numerous illustrations by the authors.
