About the book: 1999 / S.V. Kissin (1885–1916) was still known as a friend of V.F.’s youth. Khodasevich, the literary hero of “Necropolis”. In the book, he appears as a unique poet of the early 20th century, looking for his way in the literature of the post-symbolist period. For the first time, his poems, aphorisms, prose fragments, pages from notebooks and correspondence with V.F. Khodasevich have been collected. The life and fate of S.V.
