About the book: year / The fourth volume of the collected works of Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak includes fragments of the book “Education with Words”, notes on poetic creativity, pages of memoirs (At the beginning of life), as well as new (at the time of publication of the book) translations of some poems by Robert Burns, Scottish ballads, and the epic Kalevala. The volume also includes poems for children that were not included in previously published volumes - Ugomon, Merry Counting, Wax-Blot, Drum and Trumpet. Pre-reform spelling retained.
