About the book: 2020 / Anna is a good, obedient, hard-working girl. Unlike her sister Sandy, she doesn’t work long hours, doesn’t pay rent, smokes, drinks and brings strangers into the house. And at some point, good-natured Anna hears the singing of cicadas - they are asking in the background noise to kill her unlucky sister. The girl decides that she is going crazy and tries in every possible way to drown out the annoying voice... but then gives up. But everything turns out to be worse than expected - the planning of the murder and its consequences are so unpredictable! And the noise of the cicadas is getting louder and louder.
