It is dedicated to a comprehensive theological and philosophical understanding of perhaps the most mysterious dogma of the Church - the dogma of the resurrection and is recognized as the earliest surviving work of church literature specifically written on this topic. The learned champion of the Christian faith puts forward a number of arguments proving both the possibility and necessity of the resurrection of the body for human nature.
