But this was not an ideological choice, but a sacrifice in the name of great love, which ended tragically. The plot of the novel is based on real events. When creating the cover, the artist Pyotr Pavlovich Karyagin’s painting “Bayonet Attack” and a portrait of Prince Captain Alexander Trubetskoy were used.
