About the book: 1982 / After the war, an orphanage for wartime orphans was opened in a Belarusian village, and the main character of the story, Miron, took responsibility for them. One of his affairs was the restoration of the apple orchard, which was founded here before the war... and with which Miron cast his lot until the end of his days.
