About the book: 1985 / M.K. Lukonin (1918–1976) is a famous Soviet poet, whose biography and creative path are inseparable from the fate of the front-line generation. The heroics of the Great Patriotic War, the feat of the people during the years of restoration of the national economy are the key themes of his poems. This collection, which quite broadly represents both Lukonin’s lyrics and his poems, is the first scientifically prepared edition of the poet’s works. The book has two sections: “Poems” and "Poems". The first unites selected lyrics by Lukonin from his best collections (“Heartbeat”, “Dating Days”, “Long Distance Poems”, “Break Test”, “Overcoming”, “Necessity”).
