About the book: 2014 / Finally! Forty-two years later, the veil of secrecy that hid the true creators of NLP, about whom there were so many rumors and legends, fell away. This book is a must read for anyone studying NLP. It describes the events of the first nine years in the history of NLP, which paved the way for all subsequent research. Today, many claim to be the developers of NLP, but only now we have the opportunity to get acquainted with the real authors of this direction. In addition, this book reminds us that the heart of NLP was originally the meta model, and that mastery of this technique can only be achieved through constant practice. The co-authors of this book tell us that there were actually three people involved in the development of NLP, not two, which is a common misconception. Thanks to this book, we can finally get to know Frank Pucelik, whom, unfortunately, few people have heard of until today. Frank lives in Odessa, Ukraine, and continues to develop in the field of NLP for business, and also supports rehabilitation centers for drug-addicted youth. John Grinder repeatedly says that today NLP can and should be actively used. But he warns against getting too caught up in context and categories, and cautions against jumping to conclusions, suggesting that we focus on the process itself. Grinder also reminds us of the power of patterns, modeling, and testing in finding new applications of NLP. In short, I invite you to enjoy reading this book, try the proven methods of the pioneers, and perhaps usher in a new generation of NLP. Wyatt L. Woodsmall, Ph.D. ., NLP-Master, trainer, model developer.
