In 1918, Tozzi, in an extremely short period of time, wrote the novels “The Estate” and “Three cross" - about how money relationships destroy human nature. Both novels were published posthumously (in 1920). Almost all of Tozzi's works deal with people he knew well - Tuscan peasants and small owners, and with difficult, sometimes unbearable relationships between people.
