MediaDB / «Stalin's Bosphorus campaign, or the failure of Operation Thunderstorm" Sergei Zakharevich: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2007 / The author of the book proves that already in the mid-1920s Stalin developed a plan to capture the Black Sea straits of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles. This “new tsar” seriously intended to fulfill the centuries-old dream of the sovereigns of the Moscow state. But he did it so secretly that to this day historians have not noticed his preparation for the “throw to the South.” The very timing of the operation directly depended on events in Europe, in particular, on the landing of German troops on the British Isles. The author argues that it was Stalin who played one of the main roles in the preparation and outbreak of World War II. It also gives a clear answer to the question of whether the Soviet Union was preparing to attack Germany in the summer of 1941.
