About the book: 1982 / Collection of stories by the Buryat writer Matvey Osodoev (1935-1979) - his second book, published by the Sovremennik publishing house. It includes the stories already known to readers “Revenge”, “On the Outskirts” and the new story “Call”. Filial love for the fatherland, close attention to the life and affairs of the renewed Buryatia are characteristic of the work of M. Osodoev. Assessing the events happening to the characters through the prism of his own experience and personal memories, the author strived for maximum authenticity in his works.
