About the book: 1961 / This edition of the works of Jack London presents the most significant novels, stories, short stories and articles of the writer. The publication is structured on a chronological basis. The stories are placed in the order adopted in American editions of collections that appeared during the writer’s lifetime. The collections are arranged chronologically and in the vast majority of cases are printed in full. The first volume includes the so-called “northern” stories, combined into the collections “Son of the Wolf” (Boston, 1900) , "The God of His Fathers" (Chicago, 1901), "Children of the Frost" (New York, 1902).
