About the book: year / The novel takes place in the distant future. Connections between planets with intelligent life forms have long been established; earthlings and aliens communicate, trade, fight, seek common interests, divide colonies and discover new corners of the galaxy suitable for the life of intelligent beings. Earth Commonwealth (a union of several planets of the earth and adjacent sectors of outer space ) is opposed to an aggressive organization called the Polar Bloc. The main planet of the Polar Block - Gamma-249, called by its owners - "Happiness of Humanity" - is actually a former colony of the Earth. A totalitarian regime is established on Gamma-249, which is trying to resist the Earth Commonwealth. Against the backdrop of these global events, the storyline of two twin brothers, Daniel and Richard Dagward, unfolds. Born on Earth, they spend their adolescence and youth in an earthly colony on Mars. As a result of an event called the “Robot War,” the brothers lose their parents and make the decision: “It’s better to have a “home on wheels” than one day come back and find that your home destroyed." Therefore, they buy a small spaceship and choose a career as “space truckers” in order to live, guided by the principle: I carry everything I have with me.
