About the book: year / The story of Viktor Zhokhov continues. The famous whaler in the war! This book tells about our contemporary, who, transported from his time on board a whaling ship in the midst of whaling, into a friendly team of Soviet whalers. And it doesn’t matter that you hate the sea, you will only go ashore in eight months, when the fishing season ends! The hero adapted to a new world for himself, found his place and calling, but by the will of fate, the war tore him away from his favorite business, home and family. All coincidences are random, inaccuracies are made on purpose. It is not my goal to literally rewrite the entire glorious history of the flotilla described in the book. Consider this world parallel to ours, and the plot is completely the author’s fiction.
