About the book: 2023 / I had a chance to predict and describe this war several years before it began in 2014. For this, I must admit, I didn’t need any developed intuition, nor the gift of a predictor. It was enough to look at what was happening with open eyes. Since 2014, I probably knew that Russia would not be able to avoid participating in the Ukrainian civil war, and I tirelessly talked about it all those notorious eight years. That the conflict is not will resolve, will not disappear, that we need to prepare for it. I knew many of the participants in this war, its heroes and its scoundrels, even before it all began.
