About the book: 1989 / In 1782, off the deserted coast of South Africa, the East East India Company frigate Grosvenor hit the reefs and sank. At the time of the crash, on board was a multimillion-dollar cargo of gold, diamonds and unique oriental jewelry, and among them a pair of peacocks that once adorned the throne of the Great Mughals. Since then, many people, tormented by a thirst for wealth, have tried to get to these treasures. But, despite all efforts, no one was able to even discover the place where the remains of the ship rest. Drawings by V. GALDYAEV
