About the book: 2007 / The purpose of this book is to give the true history of Rus'-Ukraine and thereby refute all the distortions of this history that abound in Ukrainian separatist historiography. Therefore It was inevitable, in parallel with the presentation of indisputable historical facts, to make digressions to present those distortions or omissions to which separatist historiography resorts. These digressions introduce a polemical element into the book. But they give every objective reader a clear picture of how far the distortion of the history of Ukraine has gone, which is the foundation for the entire construction of Russo-hateful propaganda in Ukraine. The book tells as concisely as possible about the history of Ukraine, starting from ancient times and ending with the death of the Zaporozhye Sich.
