About the book: year / What is a game? Adventure, of course. Besides adventure? The opportunity to visit a fairy tale. Fantastic worlds, fairy-tale creatures and kingdoms, magicians and warlocks, shamans and druids, alchemists and undead hunters. Games provide people with the opportunity to discover the talent of a real commander, ruler or legendary warrior. But one corporation decided that all this was not enough for the computer game they were creating. After all, fairytale castles and dense forests of any game world are just boring landscapes that sooner or later everyone will get bored with. And computer programs, no matter how much you improve them, will never move away from the banal - go into that forest and kill a dozen wild boars. And how, with all this, can a game newly released to the market not get lost among thousands, or even millions, of similar competitors? Yes, it’s very simple - it is inhabited by real living people who, for a variety of reasons, voluntarily agreed to live in it for the rest of their lives. And of course, these people are bright and extraordinary individuals who stand out from the general gray mass. Where did you find such people? Yes, in prisons and mental hospitals. In one of the many provincial psychiatric hospitals, representatives of the “gaming industry” became interested in a guy with an obviously fictitious diagnosis. Why was he there? - what's the difference? It is unlikely that anyone will take risks and make a lot of effort to hide an ordinary person here. This means that he, like the others, is ideal for “a new milestone in the entertainment industry.” So. In this book I tried to combine the two stories. The story of the life of the main character in the real world with an already known ending - he will end up in a psychiatric clinic with a fictitious diagnosis. And the life story of the main character in a fantasy world of madmen and murderers, with a seemingly absolutely predictable ending of a mega folder-bender with a bunch of loyal friends and a real harem. But if all this is known, then what is the intrigue? Let's start with a seemingly simple and reasonable question: “Or maybe he deservedly ended up in that clinic and in front of us, he is by no means a good-natured guy saving beautiful ladies?” And then... we'll see.
