About the book: 2009 / The 10th SS Panzer Division "Frundsberg" was one of the elite SS divisions. Particular interest in it arose after Nobel laureate writer Günther Grass unexpectedly announced in 2006 that he had served in its ranks in 1944–1945. As a result of this scandal, the history of the division attracted everyone's attention. Twice - on the Western and Eastern fronts - it found itself at the epicenter of major operations and achieved visible successes. To crush the power of this formation, Soviet and allied troops required enormous skill and indomitable courage.
