About the book: year / An elderly lieutenant, leaving his place to an assistant, retires and opens a private detective agency. Events quickly bring them together in a joint investigation into the murder of the head of a large concern. A narrow circle of suspects, each of whom has motives to a greater or lesser extent. The plot is built on the principle of a closed space. The circle shrinks even further due to an unexpected second murder. One of the suspects “drops out,” breaking the already established investigative scheme. One of the remaining three is probably a murderer. But how to calculate it? The trained mind of an experienced police officer solves this problem: logic and imperceptible circumstantial circumstances. (Although no one prevents the reader from noticing them).
