About the book: 1970 / An adventure story about two fifth-graders. During the summer holidays, they met and became friends with an old resident of their city, an old photographer who worked with the partisans during the Great Patriotic War. He helps the boys uncover the secret of an archive of photographs they found related to the work of underground fighters in their city during the war. The boys learn a lot about the glorious exploits of the unknown heroes of the Great Patriotic War, about the fate of many of those whose lot it fell to fight for the freedom of their Motherland.
