About the book: 2014 / Young researcher Nikolai Nosov collected in his book the works of four “minor” authors of the Silver Age - Sergei Sokolov , Nina Petrovskaya, Alexander Lang and Johannes von Gunther. They were part of the social circle of V. Ya. Bryusov, Andrei Bely, K. D. Balmont, V. F. Khodasevich. Compared to their famous contemporaries, these authors found themselves in the shadows; their texts were not actually returned to for more than a century. The compiler devotes a detailed biographical sketch to each author, revealing the quest of his heroes against the background of the era. An attempt has been made to understand the mystical, irrational, metaphysical component of their work. Stories, poems, poems, dramas published at the very beginning of the 20th century are once again becoming a fact of Russian literature.
