About the book: 1979 / The main goal of V. Lossky’s works is to lead the reader to the main goal: deification and unity with God. For this purpose, various ways of knowledge are proposed, and certain methodological foundations are characterized, taken, as a rule, from the practice of the Eastern Church. In some cases, comparisons are made with the liturgical-mystical life of the Western Church. The works of V. Lossky encourage not new discoveries in theology, but the implementation of that great divine plan, which is already known to the Christian world, but requires greater initiative for its implementation.
