About the book: 1910 / The now published complete translation of the third volume of the official "Description of military operations at sea in 1904-1905", compiled by the Japanese Naval General Staff contains a description of the actions of the Japanese fleet against a detachment of Vladivostok cruisers from the beginning of the war until the end of 1904. It included all the cruises of our detachment and the Japanese fleet, a description of individual expeditions to Vladivostok and points on our coast, military operations in the area of ​​​​the Korea Strait and the Sea of ​​Japan (the battle of August 1 at Urusan), the protection of military transports by the Japanese and all operations to protect against our cruisers routes of communication between Japan and the mainland. In view of the desirability of correcting the inaccuracies made by the Japanese compilers, the Naval General Staff asks the officers participating in the actions of the Vladivostok cruiser detachment not to refuse to report the distortion of facts they noticed, as well as their comments on the contents of the book. The book contains all those available in Japanese publication of maps and diagrams.
