About the book: 2014 / The article analyzes the phenomenon of the popularity of the film "The Irony of Fate", which very fully represents fantasies , typical for the Soviet-Russian mass audience. The core of these attractive fantasies, according to the author, is maternal-child symbiosis, which devalues ​​mental development, social self-realization and other attributes of maturity. The released sequel of the named film helps to reveal the internal logic of the unsuccessful destinies of the film’s heroes and to trace the transmission of bad life through the “inheritance” scenarios.
