About the book: hour / Julio Cortazar (1914–1984) is an outstanding Argentine writer of the 20th century. Along with Colombian Gabriel García Márquez, Mexican Carlos Fuentes, Paraguayan Augusto Roa Bastos, Peruvian Mario Vargas Llosa, he is one of the prominent representatives of Latin American "magical realism". Among the most famous works are the story collections "Bestiary", "Secret Weapon", "End of the Game", "All Fires are Fire", novels "Winnings", "The Class Game", "62: Model for Assembly". Published in Ukrainian : the book of stories "Secret Weapon" (Dnipro, 1963), the novels "The Game of Classes" (Folio, 2008) and "Reading for Manuel" (Folio, 2009). This collection includes the last two life books stories by Julio Cortázar - We Love Glenda Very Much (1980) and Out of Time (1982). By publishing them, the publisher and the translator want to give the Ukrainian reader the opportunity to discover new facets of the writer's creativity.
