About the book: 1972 / M. M. Kheraskov, a poet highly valued by his contemporaries and almost half-forgotten by his descendants, entered Russian culture primarily as the author of large-scale epic poems on national heroic themes (in the 18th century, all European literature set itself the task of creating such works).
