About the book: 2010 / Once upon a time, worlds crossed, almost destroying each other. Our world has collided with another world, where magic is common, and the gods oversee people and other races. And there was a fair chunk of our world in that. But this is not what the story is about at all, because two hundred years have passed since then and all this has become overgrown with reality. The story is actually about how a former dragoon non-commissioned officer, and now a hunter of evil spirits, undead and other creatures, got into big problems for his own money and a penchant for inappropriate mercy. And it’s also about how he found friends and enemies, how he fought for the truth and tried to get back the money he spent, how he met... well, okay, I won’t get ahead of myself, it’s all in the book.
